Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SpaceOS, operated by Amigo Labs, collects, uses, shares and protects information when owners, managers, tenants or other users use our mobile app, web pages, support channels and related services.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use SpaceOS, we may collect:

• Account information such as name, email address, phone number, password credentials and role.
• Property information such as property name, address, units, capacity, rent and occupancy status.
• Tenant information added by an owner or manager, including name, phone, email, move-in and move-out details, unit assignment and payment status.
• Payment and rent records, including amount, category, mode, period, status, receipt details and transaction history.
• Documents or images uploaded in the app, such as tenant ID proof, receipt files or future complaint/maintenance photos.
• Verification information if tenant verification is used, such as verification status, name match result, masked Aadhaar details, address result, consent timestamp and vendor reference ID.
• Reminder and communication data such as email or WhatsApp reminder content, delivery status and logs.
• Device, app and usage data such as session tokens, IP address, diagnostics, crash logs and security events.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and secure user accounts.
• Operate property, unit, tenant, payment, reminder, receipt and reporting features.
• Send OTPs, reminders, receipts, payment links, support messages and service updates.
• Process subscriptions, online payments or verification requests where enabled.
• Improve reliability, prevent misuse, debug errors and protect SpaceOS users.
• Comply with applicable law, tax, audit, dispute and platform policy requirements.

Sharing Information

We do not sell user data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run SpaceOS, including cloud hosting, database, authentication, payment gateway, email, WhatsApp/SMS, analytics, error monitoring and verification providers. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.

WhatsApp and Service Communications

SpaceOS uses WhatsApp, email and SMS only for service-related communication such as OTPs, rent reminders, payment links, receipts, tenant welcome messages, booking confirmations, support responses and important account updates. We do not use WhatsApp to sell prohibited goods or regulated products.

Users should not send full Aadhaar numbers, UPI PINs, card numbers, bank passwords or other sensitive secrets over WhatsApp. If a user no longer wants WhatsApp reminders, they can contact the property owner or email admin@amigolabs.in.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Tenant Verification

If tenant verification is enabled, SpaceOS may process Aadhaar Secure QR, offline XML, DigiLocker or other identity document information only with user consent. We aim to store the minimum verification data needed, such as masked identifiers, verification status, document type, name match, address proof result and consent records. Users should not upload or share full Aadhaar numbers unless a feature clearly asks for it and explains why.

Payments

Online payments, if enabled, are processed by third-party payment providers. SpaceOS does not store full card, UPI PIN or bank credentials. We may store payment status, transaction identifiers, receipt details and related rent records.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encrypted transport and operational monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information while an account is active, while needed to provide the service, or while required for legal, tax, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or backup purposes. Users can request deletion as described in our Data Deletion Policy.

Your Choices

• You can update many account and property details inside the app.
• You can request account deletion from Settings or by contacting us.
• You can ask us to correct, export or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational limits.
• You can decline optional verification flows, although some owners may require verification before onboarding a tenant.

Children

SpaceOS is intended for property operations and is not directed to children. Users should not create accounts for children or upload children's information unless they have lawful authority to do so.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or email where appropriate.
